The movie: "The framing of Joe Paterno"

The Framing of Joe Paterno

Paterno Contributions

Being a student at Penn State you are almost immediately thrust into creating writings and projects that require research. I'm studying to get a bachelors of architecture degree and from the get go we had to research historical documents and the web for  buildings that inspire our designs as well as historical buildings we have to replicate. Using Penn State's tremendous resources like the Paterno-Patee library helps me discover the information I need to get my projects done right. Our library at Penn State would not have nearly as much content and wealth of knowledge without Joe Paterno. Paterno donated thousands of dollars to the library, of whom it was named, and gave the library a plethora of print resources ranging on all sorts of topics. The Penn State library is one of the most important resources available to students. We should all be grateful for his contributions for without them obtaining information would be made much more difficult. Despite what's happened within the last year Paterno should not be tarnished because of the scandal but should be remembered by all his contributions to knowledge and our football program.

PATERNO: Well worth reading

I feel sorry for the Paterno family.

After all the years Coach Paterno was here at Penn State, for all the money Joe and Sue Paterno donated to the University, and for all the great things Paterno did for this community, it really must be heartbreaking to be in the Paterno family and see Joe go out like this. A couple of weeks after the man was laid to rest the media decided to turn on him when he couldn't defend himself. It's a terrible story...
