The movie: "The framing of Joe Paterno"

The Framing of Joe Paterno

Paterno Contributions

Being a student at Penn State you are almost immediately thrust into creating writings and projects that require research. I'm studying to get a bachelors of architecture degree and from the get go we had to research historical documents and the web for  buildings that inspire our designs as well as historical buildings we have to replicate. Using Penn State's tremendous resources like the Paterno-Patee library helps me discover the information I need to get my projects done right. Our library at Penn State would not have nearly as much content and wealth of knowledge without Joe Paterno. Paterno donated thousands of dollars to the library, of whom it was named, and gave the library a plethora of print resources ranging on all sorts of topics. The Penn State library is one of the most important resources available to students. We should all be grateful for his contributions for without them obtaining information would be made much more difficult. Despite what's happened within the last year Paterno should not be tarnished because of the scandal but should be remembered by all his contributions to knowledge and our football program.

Libertarian filmmaker aims to exonerate Paterno in film

PATERNO: Well worth reading

I feel sorry for the Paterno family.

After all the years Coach Paterno was here at Penn State, for all the money Joe and Sue Paterno donated to the University, and for all the great things Paterno did for this community, it really must be heartbreaking to be in the Paterno family and see Joe go out like this. A couple of weeks after the man was laid to rest the media decided to turn on him when he couldn't defend himself. It's a terrible story...

Thomas Shakely on Paterno's Legacy

Thomas Shakely is a State College columnist who has his own views on Paterno.

NCAA is on a slippery slope

NCAA has a lot of questions to answer because there is no proof that Paterno was involved in any kind of a cover up other than those emails. If we're all going by the emails in the Freeh report, well then where is there proof of what the coach knew, or didn't know. NCAA could find themselves in a very sticky situation.

One Year Later and case against Joe Paterno is still weak.

More and more supporters of Paterno are starting to come out. This is great to see for all fans, family, and supporters of Joe Paterno.

More on the mini movie of Joe Paterno

This is a follow up article on the previous post I made about the mini movie involving the media and how they portrayed Joe to be in some kind of cover up. I am amazed that this is all coming out now...

Defending Joe Paterno...

The Paterno Name

Joe Paterno's name has been erased from this community except the name on the Library and the Creamery's Ice cream flavor Peachy Paterno. Is this warranted or not?

Franco Harris still fighting the Freeh report

Franco Harris is still fighting the Freeh report and will not let it die. I Just recently read an article on Centre Daily Times that Franco Harris is holding a town hall meeting in Pittsburgh to discuss Paterno's involvement in an alleged cover-up relating to the Sandusky Scandal. Does Franco need to give it a rest and let actions and future indictments play their course or should he continue to try and protect the legacy of Joe Paterno right now? I totally understand where he is coming from because he was on one of Joe Paterno's teams, but I would say, let's give it some time.
